NML EET Recruitment 2027 – Overview
Candidates who want to join NML must first appear in the GATE-2027 exam in their discipline. Shortlisting will be based on GATE-2027 performance and the company’s organisational requirements. GATE marks from previous years or any other exam will not be accepted.

NML EET Notification 2027 Out
A short notice under Advt. No. NML/01/2026 has been released by NTPC Mining Limited. It informs engineering graduates that EET-2027 recruitment will be done through GATE-2027. NML will release a detailed advertisement later for candidates who have appeared in GATE-2027. NML EET 2027 – Important Dates
NML has not yet announced its own application dates. But candidates must register for GATE-2027 first, so the GATE dates are very important. As per the revised schedule, the GATE 2027 application window runs till September 27, and the extended registration window closes on October 5, 2026. IIT Madras will conduct the exam on February 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, and 21, and the results will be announced on March 19.

NML EET 2027 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must be Engineering Graduates with a brilliant academic record in one of the following disciplines, and must appear in GATE-2027 in the same discipline:

NML EET Apply Online 2027
The application process has two steps:
Step 1 – Register for GATE-2027: Apply on the official GATE website, https://gate2027.iitm.ac.in/, and appear in the exam in your discipline. GATE 2027 is being conducted by IISc and IITs on behalf of the National Coordination Board – GATE, Ministry of Education, Government of India.
Step 2 – Apply to NML: After the GATE exam, NML will publish a detailed advertisement and open its online application link on https://nml.co.in/en/jobs/. Candidates will need their GATE-2027 registration number to apply.
NML EET Application Fee 2027
The application fee for NML EET-2027 will be announced in the detailed advertisement. For the GATE exam itself, the application fee for female, SC, ST and PwD applicants is Rs 1,000 per test paper during regular registration and Rs 1,500 during the extended period.
NML EET Selection Process 2027
The selection process for Engineering Executive Trainees will include:
- GATE-2027 Score (Shortlisting)
- Further Selection Process (details to be announced by NML, for example Group Discussion and/or Personal Interview)
- Document Verification
- Medical Examination
Candidates will be shortlisted based on GATE-2027 performance and organisational requirements.
GATE 2027 Exam Pattern
Since NML shortlisting depends fully on GATE-2027, candidates should know the exam pattern. GATE is an online exam of 3 hours with 65 questions for 100 marks. The exam is computer-based, and the question paper is only in English.
