The result has been released as a Roll Number Wise Result PDF with the Part A and Part B marks of every candidate who applied.

What the Result PDF Shows
For every roll number, the PDF lists the candidate’s name, category, post (Warder or Matron) and two marks columns:
- Marks (Part A): Punjabi Qualifying Exam. In the result, candidates with 25 or more marks in Part A cleared it; those with 24 or less are marked NQ.
- Marks (Part B): Main paper, out of 100. This decides merit. The highest Part B score in the list is 85.50.
- NQ: Shown in Part B when the candidate did not qualify Part A, so the main paper was not counted.
- ABSENT: The candidate did not appear in the written test.
Part B has negative marking, so some candidates have scores below zero. The category-wise cut-off for the next stage will be decided by PSSSB based on Part B merit.

- Click on Roll Number Wise Result – Advt. No. 08 of 2026.
- The result PDF (about 12.9 MB, 2,728 pages) will open. Download it on a stable connection.
- Press Ctrl + F on a computer, or use the search option in your mobile PDF app.
- Enter your 6-digit roll number (for example, 1XXXXX) from your admit card.
- Check your name, category, post and your Part A and Part B marks.
- Save the PDF or take a printout for the next stage.
Roll numbers run from 100001 to 184547, in serial order.
Next Stage After PSSSB Jail Warder Result: Physical Test & DV
Candidates will be shortlisted for the Physical Test and Document Verification on the basis of Part B marks, category-wise, as per the number of vacancies. PSSSB will publish the shortlist, cut-off and schedule on its website.
The Physical Test includes the Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Check the official notification for the exact height, chest and running standards for Warder and Matron.
