DSSSB Recruitment 2026: The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has released Vacancy Notice / Advertisement No. 04/2026 (dated 30 September 2026) for 641 vacancies in the Delhi District Courts. The DSSSB Combined Examination 2026 will fill posts of Senior Personal Assistant, Personal Assistant, Junior Judicial Assistant (JJA), Process Server and Peon/Orderly/Dak Peon in the District & Sessions Courts and Family Courts.
Online applications open on 6 October 2026 (from 12:00 noon) and close on 4 November 2026 (till 11:00 PM) at dsssbonline.nic.in. Candidates who have passed Class 10 or hold a graduation degree, and are aged 18 to 27 years, can apply. The application fee is just Rs. 100, and women, SC, ST, PwBD and Ex-Servicemen candidates pay nothing.

Candidates must be Indian citizens. Educational qualification is judged as on the closing date, 4 November 2026.

DSSSB Delhi District Courts Salary 2026
The notice lists pay in the old (6th CPC) scale along with the Pay Level. The 7th CPC starting basic pay shown below is the standard figure for each Pay Level; DA, HRA and other Delhi Government allowances are paid on top.

DSSSB Age Limit 2026
The age limit for all five posts is 18 to 27 years as on 1 June 2026. Candidates must be born not earlier than 2 June 1999 and not later than 1 June 2008. Date of birth is taken only from the 10th (Matriculation) certificate.

The fee must be paid online through SBI e-Pay only and is not refundable. Ex-Servicemen already re-employed in a regular civil post using ESM reservation do not get the fee exemption.
DSSSB 04/2026 Selection Process
DSSSB conducts the MCQ, Descriptive and Skill tests, and the Delhi District Courts (Tis Hazari) conduct the Driving Test and Interview and prepare the final merit list. The stages differ by post:

Common rules: Each MCQ carries 1 mark with 0.25 negative marking. Minimum qualifying marks in Tier-I and Tier-II are 50% for UR/EWS and 45% for OBC (Delhi)/SC/ST/PwBD/ESM. The interview has no minimum qualifying marks.

The MCQ is in English only. Up to 25 times the vacancies are called for Tier-II and up to 10 times for the skill test. Final merit is based on Tier-II and Tier-IV marks.
Skill Test: Senior PA candidates take a 550-word dictation in 5 minutes (110 w.p.m.), and PA candidates a 500-word dictation in 5 minutes (100 w.p.m.). Both get 40 minutes to transcribe on computer. Permitted mistakes are 4% (22 for Senior PA, 20 for PA), and the best of two attempts counts.

Both posts share the same Tier-I MCQ paper of 100 questions in 120 minutes (160 minutes for PwD candidates).

- Process Server: Up to 15 times the vacancies are called for a qualifying Driving Test in real traffic conditions, followed by a 15-mark Interview. Final merit = Tier-I + Interview marks.
- Peon/Orderly/Dak Peon: Up to 10 times the vacancies are called for a 15-mark Interview. Final merit = Tier-I + Interview marks.
How to Apply Online for DSSSB Recruitment 2026
Apply only through the DSSSB OARS portal between 6 October and 4 November 2026. Postal, hand or email applications are rejected.
- Visit dsssbonline.nic.in.
- New users click “Click for New Registration”. Registration is a one-time process; existing users log in with their registration number and password.
- Keep a valid ID proof (Aadhaar, PAN, Voter ID, Driving Licence or Passport) ready; scanned ID files must be 15–60 KB.
- Verify your mobile number and email ID via OTP.
- Log in and select Advertisement No. 04/2026 and the post code you want to apply for.
- Fill in your details carefully; category and other particulars cannot be changed after submission.
- Upload a recent colour photograph (plain white background) and your signature.
- Pay the Rs. 100 fee through SBI e-Pay, if applicable.
- Submit the form and take a printout for your records.
Only one registration and one application per candidate is allowed; duplicates lead to cancellation and debarment. Documents are checked later through an online e-dossier, so keep your certificates (10th, degree, skill certificates, category/EWS/PwBD certificates, driving licence for Process Server) ready. OBC (NCL) certificates must be issued between 1 April 2026 and 4 November 2026.
