How to Apply for ISRO URSC Apprentice Recruitment 2026-27

Candidates fulfilling the essential qualification can enrol themselves on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) Portal, followed by applying on the UMANG portal, as per the steps below:

  1. Visit the NATS portal, https://nats.education.gov.in, and register your candidature.
  2. While enrolling, upload your Degree/Diploma certificate (as applicable) and a valid government-issued ID. On successful registration, an Enrolment Number/Apprenticeship Registration Number will be generated and allotted.
  3. Ensure your Aadhaar number is seeded with your bank account and enabled for DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) payment.
  4. After registering on the NATS portal, visit the UMANG portal, https://web.umang.gov.in/landing/, register and log in.
  5. Search for “URSC Apprenticeship”, click “Apply for Position”, and fill in all the required details, compulsorily indicating the Enrolment Number/Apprenticeship Registration Number allotted on the NATS portal.
  6. Upload the following documents in JPG/JPEG/PNG format:
    • B.E./B.Tech./Diploma marks certificates of all semesters/years in one file, not exceeding 1 MB
    • B.E./B.Tech./Diploma Certificate/Provisional Certificate/Passing Certificate, not exceeding 1 MB
    • Photograph (max. 50 KB) and Signature (max. 50 KB), clear and legible
    • Latest caste certificate for SC/ST/OBC candidates (max. 50 KB), issued by the Competent Authority
    • Disability certificate for PwBD candidates, issued by the Competent Authority
  7. Submit the application on the UMANG portal.

ISRO URSC Apprentice Selection Process 2026-27

Candidates will be shortlisted based on their percentage of marks in the respective discipline. Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification. On successful completion of document verification, a panel will be drawn based on academic scores in the Degree/Diploma. Induction of apprentices against vacant positions will be made strictly based on the candidate’s position in the panel. Selected candidates will be informed only by e-mail. Candidates shortlisted for document verification are not eligible for Travelling Allowance.
