CSIR AMPRI Application Fee 2026
The CSIR AMPRI application fee is Rs. 500 for each post code, payable only through SBI Collect or the online payment gateway. Cash, demand drafts and postal orders are not accepted, and the fee is non-refundable.
SC, ST, PwBD, women and ex-servicemen candidates are fully exempt on uploading the relevant certificate. Ex-servicemen who already got a central government civil job using the ESM concession cannot claim the fee exemption again.
After paying, enter the transaction number correctly in the form and upload the e-receipt. Applications without the fee are rejected outright.

Preparation Tips for CSIR AMPRI Exam 2026
- Clear the qualifying stages first. The trade test, physical test and Paper I only filter candidates, but failing them ends your chance.
- Focus on the subject paper. For Technical Officer and Technician, Paper III carries the most marks and also decides ties.
- Avoid blind guessing. Papers II and III, and the MTS exam, deduct 1 mark per wrong answer.
- Practise descriptive writing. Security posts have a written paper on comprehension and report writing, which needs speed and clarity.
- Build physical stamina early. Security candidates get only one attempt at the physical test.
- Check the trade syllabus. The official area-wise syllabus is on the CSIR-AMPRI website.
