ECIL ITI Apprentice Eligibility Criteria 2026
To apply, you need an ITI pass certificate (NCVT) in the relevant trade and must be a resident of Telangana.
Educational Qualification

ECIL Apprentice Selection Process 2026
ECIL will select apprentices on the basis of ITI marks merit only, with no written test or interview.
- Merit list: Shortlisting is done according to the marks obtained in ITI.
- Seat split: 70% of seats go to Government ITI students and 30% to Private ITI students.
- Document verification: Shortlisted candidates are informed by email and must attend at short notice, tentatively from 22 to 24 October 2026.
- Offer letter: Selected candidates receive offer letters by email, tentatively on 28 to 29 October 2026.

Important Terms and Conditions
The ECIL apprenticeship is a one-year training under the Apprenticeship Act 1961 and does not guarantee a job at ECIL.
- No TA/DA is paid for attending document verification.
- Selected apprentices cannot withdraw except for reasons beyond their control. Those who leave may have to refund the training cost and stipend received.
- After training, apprentices must pass a practical test to receive the National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) from MSDE.
- False or suppressed information leads to rejection or termination at any stage.
