NMMS Haryana Scholarship Amount
Selected students will receive ₹1,000 per month (₹12,000 per year) for Classes 9, 10, 11 and 12. The scholarship is awarded at the district level according to each district’s quota.
Haryana NMMS Eligibility Criteria 2026-27
Before filling the Haryana NMMS online form 2026, students and school principals must make sure that the candidate meets the following conditions:
- The student must be studying in Class 8 in a government or government-aided school of Haryana.
- The student must have passed Class 7 from a government or aided school in the previous session with at least 55% marks.
- The total annual income of parents from all sources must be less than ₹3,50,000.
Who is not eligible?
Students of Kendriya Vidyalayas, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, KGBVs, any residential school, and private schools cannot appear in this exam. A student who has failed Class 8 is also not eligible. A student can appear in the NMMS exam only once, and if any information in the application is found false, the candidature will be cancelled.
Haryana NMMS Exam Pattern 2026-27
The selection is made through a written exam in two parts: the Mental Ability Test (MAT) and the Scholastic Ability Test (SAT).

- All questions are multiple choice with four options, and answers are marked on an OMR sheet.
- Each question carries one mark and all questions are compulsory.

- The exam will be available in Hindi and English medium.

Qualifying marks for reserved categories: For SC, BC and Divyang (PwD) students, the qualifying marks are 29 in each part.
Haryana NMMS Syllabus 2026-27
There is no fixed syllabus for the NMMS exam. However, questions will be of the level of Class 7 and Class 8, in line with the annual exam syllabus of the Haryana Board and CBSE. The MAT checks reasoning, analysis and logical thinking, while the SAT covers Science, Maths and Social Science.

Important: To claim reservation, students must upload a caste certificate issued by a competent authority of Haryana while applying online. How to Apply Online for Haryana NMMS Scholarship 2026-27
The Haryana NMMS application form can be filled online only. Follow these steps:
- Visit the official website of SCERT Haryana (www.scertharyana.gov.in) or BSEH (www.bseh.org.in).
- Click on the NMMS 2026-27 online application link.
- Fill in the student’s details carefully. The name and date of birth must match the Aadhaar card.
- Upload the caste certificate or disability certificate, if applicable.
- Check all details and submit the form before 24 October 2026.
- Keep a printout of the submitted form for future reference.
Why is the Aadhaar date of birth so important? All details on the NSP portal are filled as per Aadhaar. Also, when two or more students score equal marks in the merit list, selection is decided on the basis of date of birth. No claim regarding this will be accepted later.
Haryana NMMS Admit Card 2026
The admit card or roll number for the NMMS exam will be available for download from the SCERT Haryana and BSEH websites 10 days before the exam date, that is, around 19 November 2026.
Haryana NMMS Result 2026-27
The OMR sheets will be evaluated to prepare the result. The list of selected students (with marks) will be sent to all schools through the District Education Officer’s office and will also be available on the SCERT Haryana website.
What to Do After Selection in the NMMS Merit List?
Getting your name in the merit list does not automatically mean you will receive the scholarship. Selected students must:
- Apply on the National Scholarship Portal (scholarships.gov.in), which is expected to open in June/July 2027. Applying on the portal is the student’s own responsibility.
- Get the parents’ income certificate verified by the SDM or Tehsildar and submit it to the District Coordinator Office / District Education Officer.
- Data uploaded on the NSP portal will be verified first by the school head and then by the District Education Officer.
