GATE 2027 Important Dates for PSU Jobs
As per IIT Madras, online application for GATE 2027 is live. Candidates who miss GATE 2027 cannot apply for any PSU recruitment of 2027 session.

Common Eligibility Criteria for PSU Recruitment Through GATE 2027
Based on GAIL and NTPC official notifications, we have extracted common rules applicable to all PSUs:
1. Educational Qualification:
- Full-time Regular B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc Engg. from UGC/AICTE recognized University.
- Minimum 65% marks for General/EWS/OBC (NCL) and 60% for SC/ST/PwBD. No rounding off – 64.99% will be treated as 64.99% only.
- 5 Years Integrated Dual Degree B.Tech+M.Tech is also eligible.
2. Year of Passing – Most Important for GAIL:
As per GAIL Advt Clause 2.9, Candidates who completed B.E/B.Tech in 2025 or earlier are NOT eligible. Only:
- Candidates who completed degree in 2026
- Candidates in Final Year 2026-27 are eligible.
This rule is expected in NTPC and other PSUs also.
3. Age Limit:
As per GAIL, Upper Age Limit is 26 Years as on 18.03.2027. Relaxation: SC/ST – 5 Years, OBC(NCL) – 3 Years, PwBD – 10 Years. Maximum age with all relaxations not to exceed 56 years.

Step 2: Download GATE 2027 Admit Card when released.
Step 3: After GATE exam, wait for detailed advertisement of PSUs in Jan-March 2027.
Step 4: Apply separately on PSU career portal with GATE 2027 Registration Number. Example: For GAIL, apply on gailonline.com between 17.02.2027 to 18.03.2027.
