IGNOU Non Teaching Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria
All eligibility conditions, including age, qualification and experience, are counted as on the closing date of the online application.

Experience Required
Experience must be in the relevant specialisation, such as LMS administration (Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard), enterprise networking (Palo Alto, F5, HCI), 2D/3D animation, game design, VR/AR development or AI/ML development. It must have been gained in PSUs, universities, educational institutions, Government of India organisations or reputed IT organisations.
Some important rules:
- Experience is counted only after obtaining the required qualification.
- Part-time, daily-wage and guest or visiting faculty experience will not be counted.
- An experience certificate in the prescribed proforma is required, showing the duration, pay and nature of duties.
The Assistant Director (LMS) post also requires working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, MySQL, MongoDB, API integration, SSO, Android/iOS app development and large-scale online examinations.
Preferred Certifications
Candidates with relevant certifications will get preference. Examples include Moodle Administrator, CCNA/CCNP, Palo Alto PCNSE, Unity or Unreal Engine certifications, Adobe Certified Professional, Microsoft Azure AI Engineer, Google Professional ML Engineer and the TensorFlow Developer Certificate.
