Candidates must meet the prescribed educational qualification to apply for the post of Junior Programmer.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess any one of the following, with a minimum of 55% marks:

Hartron Junior Programmer Selection Process 2026
The selection process for Hartron Junior Programmer Recruitment 2026 is conducted in two stages, followed by training for eligible candidates.
1. First Test — Domain Knowledge Test
- A computer-based objective (MCQ) test covering various computer topics and questions specific to the domain applied for
- Validity of the 1st test is 1 year from the date of notifying the posts/advertisement
2. Training
- Candidates who qualify the 1st test and clear document scrutiny must undergo 1 month of training (approx. 50 hours) before appearing in the 2nd test

- Training for a category is planned only if at least 5 candidates are available
3. Second Test — Practical/Project Test
- Conducted after successful completion of training
- Candidates for Programmer-level categories are tested using MVC (Model-View-Controller)
- A maximum of 2 attempts is allowed for the 2nd test against a single advertisement
4. Refund of Security Deposit
The ₹1,500 security deposit is refunded if the candidate:
- Attended training with a minimum of 75% attendance
- Cleared the 2nd test successfully within 2 attempts
- Did not damage any hardware/property of the Corporation
5. Merit & Panel Updation
- Merit is prepared by giving equal weightage to the 1st (Domain Knowledge) test and the 2nd (Practical) test
- A separate panel is made for each reserved category, and deployment follows the reservation roster
- Empanelled candidates cannot reapply for the same post for at least 6 months
