SSC MTS & Havaldar Cut Off 2026 (Out)
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has declared the result of the Computer Based Examination to shortlist candidates for PET/PST for the post of Havaldar (CBIC & CBN). The notice for the Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff, and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination, 2025 was originally issued on 26.06.2025, following which a total of 36,19,834 applications were received.
The Computer Based Examination was conducted by the Commission from 04.02.2026 to 20.02.2026 across various centres in the country, and a total of 8,04,633 candidates appeared for it.
Normalization of Marks
Since the Computer Based Examination was held across multiple shifts, the marks scored by candidates were normalized as per the formula published in the Commission’s notice dated 02.06.2025. As per Para-18.7 of the Notice of Examination, candidates have been shortlisted for the post of Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) in the ratio of 1:7 (vacancies : candidates) for appearing in PET/PST, based on their normalized scores in Session-II of the CBE.
Candidates have only been considered against the vacancies of those Post-cum-CCAs (Cadre Controlling Authorities) for which they gave their preference in the online Application Form, as per Para-17.5 of the Notice.
Minimum Qualifying Marks (Session-I & Session-II)
Candidates who did not qualify in Session-I of the CBE were not evaluated for Session-II. The minimum qualifying marks for both sessions are as follows:

Candidates who fail to qualify PET/PST will not be considered for the post of Havaldar in the final result. However, if such candidates are shortlisted for the post of MTS, their candidature will remain valid for MTS. The First Round of Tentative Allocation for both MTS and Havaldar posts will be declared together at a later stage, after PET/PST for Havaldar is completed.

*Note: The UR figure of 3136 includes 300 EWS, 105 SC, 25 ST, and 1574 OBC candidates who have provisionally qualified at the UR cut-off. Malpractice & Debarred Cases
- The result of 2 candidates (Roll Nos. 125270001942 and 125270006713) has been kept withheld pending investigation into suspicious activities.
- 727 candidates were found indulging in malpractice during the CBE, as per Para-20 of the Notice of Examination, and their results have not been processed. Affected candidates may represent their case before the concerned Regional Office.
- 169 candidates have been debarred by their respective Regional Offices for various reasons.
Tie-Resolution Criteria
Where more than one candidate secured equal aggregate marks in Session-II, ties have been resolved in the following order, per Para-19 of the Notice:
- Normalized marks in General Awareness of Session-II
- Total normalized marks in Session-I
- Date of birth (older candidate gets preference)
- Alphabetical order of names
