- Scientist ‘C’: M.Sc in Physics/Applied Physics/Optics/Photonics/Electronics from a recognised University/Institution, with relevant desirable experience (e.g., electronics, laser systems, electron microscopy, accelerator operations depending on the post code).
- Scientific Assistant ‘B’: Diploma in Computer Software Technology, Electronics & Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or AC/Refrigeration Engineering (post-specific), often with 2 years’ relevant experience desirable.
- Technician ‘B’: HSC/SSC pass with ITI (minimum 1 year duration) in the relevant trade (Computer Hardware, Welding, Draughtsmanship, Carpentry, Electrician, AC Technician, Electronics Mechanic, etc.) plus 3 years’ experience in the relevant field.
- Assistant Administrative Officer-I: Deputation only — officers holding analogous post in DAE/aided institutions, or with minimum 3 years’ regular service in Pay Level 6.
- Lower Division Clerk: Graduate from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks; typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English desirable.
- Security Guard A: SSC or equivalent, with physical fitness as per GoI norms; ex-servicemen with minimum 15 years’ service also eligible.
- Work Assistant ‘A’: SSC or equivalent with minimum 1 year relevant experience.
- Halwai-cum-Cook: 10th class pass with Certificate/Diploma in Catering and 2 years’ experience preferred.
