Who Can Apply for SAI Assistant Recruitment 2026?
This recruitment is not open to everyone. Only the 480 candidates provisionally shortlisted in Annexure-I of the notification can apply. They must use the same email ID they gave in the SSC CGL 2025 application, as listed against their name in Annexure-I.

Eligibility Criteria for SAI Assistant Recruitment 2026
Shortlisted candidates must also meet the eligibility conditions below to receive an offer of appointment.
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent qualification, from a recognized university.
- They must have held this degree on 01.08.2025, which was the qualification cut-off date in the SSC CGL 2025 notification.
Age Limit
- Candidates who have reached the age of 30 years as on 25.09.2026 are not eligible.
- SC, ST, OBC, PwBD, and other eligible categories get upper age relaxation as per prevailing Government of India rules.
Category
- The category a candidate chose in the SSC CGL 2025 application form will be treated as final.
- Reservation will follow Government of India rules and DoPT OMs issued from time to time.
