NEET PG Result 2026 Out; Check Cut-Off, Rank and Scorecard Date at natboard.edu.in

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has declared the NEET PG Result 2026 today, 24 September 2026. Candidates who took the exam can now check their raw scores and all-India rank on the official website, natboard.edu.in. NBEMS has also released the category-wise qualifying cut-off scores and the dates for the scorecard and answer key.

NEET PG 2026 Exam Date and Candidate Turnout

NEET PG 2026 was held on 30 August 2026 across India for admission to MD, MS, DNB, DrNB (Direct 6-Year) and PG Medical Diploma courses for the 2026-27 session. A total of 2,63,544 candidates appeared on the main exam day.

An internal power failure at iON Digital Zone iDZ Sitapura, Jaipur (Test Centre codes 41682 and 41683) stopped candidates at those centres from completing their exam. NBEMS held a re-examination for them on 5 September 2026 in Jaipur, which 2,416 candidates attended. The NEET PG Result 2026 therefore covers 2,65,960 candidates in total.

NEET PG Result 2026 Cut-Off Scores

Along with the scores, NBEMS has announced the minimum qualifying cut-off for each category, in line with the NEET PG 2026 Information Bulletin:

Candidates scoring at or above their category cut-off are eligible for counselling. For state quota seats, each state and union territory will prepare its own merit list based on its eligibility criteria, rules and reservation policy.

How to Check NEET PG Result 2026

1. Go to the official NBEMS website, natboard.edu.in.
2. Open the NEET PG 2026 section and find the result notice dated 24 September 2026.
3. Click the link “Click here to view the result of NEET-PG 2026” to open the result PDF.
4. Press Ctrl+F (or use the search option on your phone) and type your roll number or application sequence number.
5. Check your total score and rank, then download the PDF for future use.

The result has been published as a PDF titled “Result of NEET-PG 2026.” For every candidate, it shows the serial number, application sequence number (for example, PG26120268), roll number, total score out of 720, and NEET PG 2026 rank. Personal details such as names are not included, so candidates must use their roll number or application number to find their result.

How the NEET PG 2026 Rank Is Calculated

The NEET PG 2026 rank shows a candidate’s overall merit position among all candidates who appeared in the exam. It is based on the actual marks scored and the tie-breaking rules given in the Information Bulletin.

Where MBBS or FMGE aggregate marks were used to break a tie, those marks will be printed on the candidate’s scorecard. These marks will be checked against original documents during admission. If the details in the application form turn out to be wrong and were used to resolve a tie, the candidate’s candidature will be cancelled.

NEET PG Scorecard 2026 Download Date

The NEET PG Result 2026 PDF shows only scores and ranks. Individual scorecards can be downloaded from natboard.edu.in on or after 1 October 2026.

Candidates should note that scorecards will stay online for only six months from the date of issue. After that, they will be removed from the website, and any request for a copy will be rejected. NBEMS will not send scorecards by post or email, so candidates should download and save them as soon as they are available.

NEET PG 2026 Answer Key

NBEMS will publish the NEET PG 2026 answer key on or after 1 October 2026. This follows clauses 9.7 and 10.7 of the Information Bulletin and the Supreme Court order dated 29 April 2025 in SLP No. 9298 of 2018.

Candidates can log in to their individual accounts to see the Question IDs, correct answer key IDs, their marked responses, and the marks given for each question. NBEMS has also confirmed that subject experts reviewed every question in both papers, and none was found to be technically incorrect.

What After NEET PG Result 2026?

Qualified candidates should now get ready for counselling. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts counselling for All India Quota seats, while state authorities handle state quota seats. Candidates should regularly check the MCC website and their state counselling portals for schedules and keep their scorecard and original documents ready.

NBEMS has reminded candidates that their candidature is provisional and subject to meeting all eligibility conditions. Anyone found using unfair means at any stage will face penal action, and their result will be cancelled even if they have been declared successful.
