CSIR NGRI MTS Admit Card 2026 Out
As per the notice dated 23.09.2026, a total of 12,783 online applications were received, out of which 12,568 candidates have been provisionally shortlisted to appear for the Trade Test, and 215 candidates have not been shortlisted. The Trade Test shall commence from 26.10.2026 (Monday) to 31.10.2026 (Saturday) and may be extended if required. However, PwD and Ex-Servicemen candidates shall take the Trade Test on 31.10.2026 (Saturday) only.
Candidates can choose the date and session of the examination from 26.10.2026 to 31.10.2026 while downloading the Hall Ticket, at their choice, based on first cum first serve. Candidates must note that only those who download Hall Tickets during the live window (24.09.2026 to 30.09.2026) shall be issued Hall Tickets to take the Trade Test. The candidates who are appearing for the CSIR NGRI MTS Trade Test must reach the examination centre well before the reporting time as mentioned on the admit card.

CSIR NGRI MTS Recruitment 2026: Mode of Selection
For the post of Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS), the selection process is as follows:
- Candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria as recommended by the Screening Committee duly constituted by the Director, CSIR-NGRI will be called for a Trade Test.
- The Trade Test is intended to test the candidate’s practical knowledge as mentioned in the Nature of Job/Job requirement.
- The Selection Committee will decide the mode of Trade Test and also conduct the Trade Test.
- Those candidates who qualify for the Trade Test will be eligible to take part in the Competitive Written Examination (CWE).
- The final merit list will be prepared based on the performance of the candidates in the Competitive Written Examination.
- The Competitive Written Examination consists of one paper. The Final merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in this paper.
