Cut-Off Analysis: What It Means for Aspirants
The previous year data makes one thing clear: clearing the sectional minimum marks is not enough. In the Prelims, a UR candidate needed only 36 marks to clear the Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude sectional minimums (18 + 18), but the overall cut-off was 58 out of 70. That means UR candidates had to score almost 83% of the counted marks just to reach the Mains.
