Selection Process
Selection is based entirely on performance in the Personal Interview (100% weightage).
Zone of consideration:
- Candidates are shortlisted for interview in a 1:5 ratio — five candidates per vacancy.
- For a single vacancy, 10 candidates will be shortlisted.
- If fewer than five applications are received, the Selection Committee will assess and state the suitability of the interviewed candidates.
Shortlisting criteria:
- 1 mark for each completed year of relevant experience beyond the minimum requirement; 1/365 mark per day for any incomplete period.
- 1 mark for every additional degree above the essential qualification in the relevant discipline, subject to a maximum of 2 marks.
- HCL reserves the right to conduct a written screening test to shortlist candidates if required.
