Points to Remember While Applying
- Applicants should not submit more than one application. The application once submitted shall be final.
- No change in the data provided will be considered after final submission.
- If the marks entered differ from the mark sheet uploaded, the application will be summarily rejected.
- Filling garbage or junk details in any field can lead to rejection.
- Incomplete applications shall not be considered.
- The unique application number is generated only upon successful submission, and it must be quoted in any correspondence with CSL.
Selection Process
There is no written examination in this recruitment. Selection is carried out in the following stages:
1. Shortlisting Candidates are shortlisted based on the percentage of marks obtained in the prescribed qualification applicable to the respective trade. If more than one candidate secures the same percentage, relative merit is decided on the basis of seniority in age — meaning the older candidate is placed higher.
2. Certificate Verification Shortlisted candidates are intimated through their registered email ID and must appear for verification with:
- Printout of the online application form (bearing the unique registration number), duly signed
- Original certificates as proof of age, qualification, caste and disability (if any)
- Self-attested copies of all the above certificates
3. Provisional Selection and Medical Fitness On successful completion of certificate verification, applicants are provisionally considered for selection against the notified seats in the order of merit and reservation, subject to medical fitness.
4. Execution of Contract Selected candidates must execute the apprenticeship contract agreement through the https://apprenticeshipindia.gov.in portal.
