UPSC Geo-Scientist Selection Process 2027
The UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist Recruitment process consists of three successive stages, in line with the standard Civil Services-style UPSC examinations:
- Stage-I: Combined Geo-Scientist (Preliminary) Examination — Objective Type (400 Marks)
- Stage-II: Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) Examination — Descriptive Type (600 Marks)
- Stage-III: Personality Test/Interview (200 Marks)
Marks secured in both the Preliminary and Main Examinations count towards the final merit; the Personality Test carries no minimum qualifying marks.
