The Gujarat Subordinate Service Selection Board (GSSSB) has released the GSSSB CCE 2.0 Recruitment 2026 notification (Advertisement No. 468/2026-27) for the Gujarat Subordinate Services Class III (Group-A and Group-B) Combined Competitive Examination. GSSSB CCE 2.0 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must be at least 20 years and not more than 35 years old as on 30 November 2026. Age relaxation is given as below.

Selected candidates will get a fixed monthly pay for the first five years. After five years of satisfactory service, they will be regularised in the applicable pay scale.

The fee must be paid online (debit card, net banking, UPI or wallet) by 2 December 2026. The fee will be refunded to candidates who appear in the exam. Candidates who do not appear will not get a refund.
GSSSB CCE 2.0 Selection Process
- Preliminary Exam: Common MCQ screening test for Group-A and Group-B.
- Main Exam: Descriptive for Group-A and MCQ for Group-B.
- Document Verification
Seven times the category-wise vacancies will be shortlisted for the Main exam, separately for Group-A and Group-B. Prelims marks are not counted in the final merit. The minimum qualifying mark is 40% in each stage and each paper. No waiting list will be prepared.

Can West Bengal Candidates Apply for GSSSB CCE 2.0?
Yes, any Indian citizen with graduation can apply. However, reservation and age relaxation benefits are only for reserved category candidates who are original residents of Gujarat, so candidates from West Bengal will be considered under the unreserved category. The Prelims has a Gujarati section, Group-A Mains has a Gujarati Language Skill paper, and adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi is required.
