The Gujarat Surveyor Class 3 salary follows the state's fixed pay policy. Under the GSSSB Surveyor Recruitment 2026, pay is as follows:
- First 5 years: fixed pay of Rs. 26,000 per month.
- After 5 years of satisfactory service: regular appointment in Pay Level 4 (Rs. 25,500 to Rs. 81,100) of the 7th Pay Commission.

Educational Qualification
- A Diploma in Civil Engineering from the Technical Examination Board or a recognised university or institution, or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Government; or
- A certificate of a one-year or two-year Surveyor course from a Government-recognised ITI.
- Candidates with a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering are not eligible.
- Basic knowledge of computer applications as per the Gujarat Civil Services rules. Candidates without the certificate can apply but must pass the computer test before appointment.
- Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
The department has accepted these diplomas as equivalent to a Diploma in Civil Engineering for this post.
