To be eligible for RVUNL Recruitment 2026, candidates need to meet the educational qualification and age limit criteria as detailed below.
Educational Qualification
- Junior Engineer-I (Electrical/Mechanical/Civil): Candidates must hold a full-time four years’ Graduation Degree in Engineering (or AMIE) in the relevant discipline from a University/Institution established by law in India and recognized by AICTE, New Delhi.
- Junior Accountant: Candidates must hold a Graduation Degree in Commerce/Business Administration, or have passed the Intermediate examination of ICAI/ICMAI, or hold an MBA, or M.Com. of minimum two years, along with a prescribed computer qualification.
- Junior Assistant/ Commercial Assistant-II: Candidates must have passed the Senior Secondary Examination from a recognized Board, along with a prescribed computer qualification.

- Junior Engineer-I: A single computer-based written competitive examination of two hours’ duration consisting of objective-type (MCQ) questions, followed by document verification. There is no interview.
- Junior Accountant: A single computer-based written competitive examination of two hours’ duration in two parts (Part-A and Part-B), followed by document verification. There is no interview.
- Junior Assistant/ Commercial Assistant-II: A two-phase process — Phase-I Computer Based Test (Pre-examination for screening, followed by Main-examination) and Phase-II Type Writing Test (Hindi and English), followed by document verification. Final merit gives 40% weightage to the Main-examination and 60% weightage to the Type Writing Test.
