Selection Process
- Selection is made through the Objective Type Written Examination based on marks secured.
- Qualifying Marks: OC, Sportspersons & EWS – not less than 40%; BCs – not less than 35%; SCs, STs & PHs – not less than 30%.
- Candidates are selected in order of merit against vacancies available in the concerned Engineering Branch; allotment is confined to Multi Zone-II only.
- Appearance in all papers is compulsory; absence in any paper disqualifies the candidature.
- Tie-breaking criteria (in order): local status, date of birth (elder candidate ranked higher), marks in subject paper, date of passing qualifying examination, percentage in qualifying examination, higher qualification, and date of passing higher qualification.
- Selection is subject to candidates being found medically fit, and applicants must be willing to serve anywhere in Telangana State.
Important Points to Note
- There is no waiting list for this recruitment — vacancies notified before the examination only will be filled; unfilled/non-joining vacancies will be carried forward to the next recruitment.
- Persons already in Government service must submit a “No Objection Certificate” from their Head of Office/Department as and when required.
- Reservation for BC-E group is subject to the outcome of pending litigation before the Hon’ble Supreme Court.
- Candidates claiming reservation benefits under Disability quota will be referred to an Appellate Medical Board, whose decision is final; requests for re-medical examination will not be entertained.
