GSRTC Helper Eligibility Criteria 2026
1. Vision: Clear Vision is mandatory.
2. Age Limit – 18 to 35 Years as on last date of application [06/10/2026]
Birth Date: 06/10/1991 to 06/10/2008. Upper age relaxation as per rules:
- Unreserved Male – 35 Years, Female – 40 Years
- Reserved Male – 40 Years, Female – 45 Years
- Ex-Serviceman & Divyang – 45 Years for all

Candidate must have completed Apprenticeship in the SAME TRADE as ITI in Government / Semi-Government / Public Undertaking / Any Limited / Private Limited Company and possess NCVT – National Council for Vocational Training Certificate and Marksheet.
Example: If candidate has done ITI Electrician, then Apprenticeship must also be in Electrician Trade. If Apprenticeship is in Lineman / Wireman, it will NOT be considered for priority marks.
5. Computer Knowledge:
As per Gujarat Govt. GR No. CRR-10-2007-120320-G.5 dated 13/08/2008 – Candidate must have basic computer knowledge certificate / CCC / or Computer as subject in Std 10/12 or Degree/Diploma.

GSRTC Selection Process 2026 – How Merit List is Prepared?
This is the most important part of GSRTC Helper Recruitment 2026 Selection Process.
Stage 1: 100 Marks MCQ Based Exam – OMR or CBRT
All eligible candidates will be called for 100 marks MCQ exam.
Stage 2: Weightage System – Total 100% Weightage
