Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) has released the DVC MT Recruitment 2026 notification (Advt. No. PLR/BPSCL/05/2026/07) on behalf of Bokaro Power Supply Company Private Limited (BPSCL), a joint venture of SAIL and DVC. A total of 18 Management Trainee (Technical) posts in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil and C&I disciplines will be filled through GATE 2025 scores. About BPSCL
BPSCL was set up to meet the captive steam and power needs of SAIL's Bokaro Steel Plant. It has a capacity of 338 MW of power and 2,180 TPH of steam generation, along with about 2.1 MWp of rooftop solar units. Its plant and office are in Bokaro Steel City, Jharkhand.

- Minimum 65% marks for Gen / OBC (NCL) / EWS and 55% for SC / ST / PwD, in aggregate of all years / semesters.
- The degree must be from an AICTE / statutory body approved university or institution.
- Candidates must have qualified in the corresponding GATE 2025 paper. GATE 2024 or earlier scores are not valid.
DVC MT Age Limit 2026
The upper age limit is 28 years for Unreserved candidates as on the closing date of online application (6 December 2026). Relaxation for SC / ST / OBC (NCL) / PwBD / ex-servicemen is as per Government of India rules. For BPSCL departmental candidates, the upper age limit is 45 years, and they must also qualify GATE 2025.

DVC MT Selection Process 2026
- Shortlisting: Based on GATE 2025 marks (out of 100), in the ratio of 1:5 or more category-wise in each discipline.
- Document Verification: Bring the GATE 2025 admit card, original scorecard and all original certificates.
- Final merit: Based on GATE 2025 marks. In a tie, the older candidate will be placed first.
- Pre-employment medical examination by the BPSCL Medical Board.
DVC MT Recruitment 2026 for West Bengal Candidates
The application is handled by DVC, which is headquartered in Kolkata, but the job is with BPSCL at Bokaro Steel City in Jharkhand, which is close to West Bengal.
