DVC ET Recruitment 2026: Apply Online for 108 Executive Trainee Posts Through GATE 2025
Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC), a Government of India undertaking under the Ministry of Power with its headquarters in Kolkata, has released the DVC ET Recruitment 2026 notification (Advt. No. PLR/ET/04/2026/05) for a special drive to recruit 108 Executive Trainees through GATE 2025. Engineering graduates in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Control and Instrumentation (C&I) and Mining can apply online on dvc.gov.in from 6 November 2026 to 6 December 2026.

- Minimum 65% marks for Gen / OBC (NCL) / EWS and 60% for SC / ST / PwD, in aggregate of all years / semesters.
- The degree must be from an AICTE / statutory body approved university or institution.
- Candidates must have qualified in the corresponding GATE 2025 paper. GATE 2024 or earlier scores are not valid.
- Final-year students of 2025 with GATE 2025 can apply, but must show the final mark sheet and degree at document verification.
DVC ET Age Limit 2026
The upper age limit is 29 years for Unreserved candidates as on the closing date of online application (6 December 2026). Age relaxation for SC / ST / OBC (NCL) / PwBD / ex-servicemen is as per Government of India rules, including 10 years for PwBD (General). There is no upper age limit for DVC departmental candidates, but they must also qualify GATE 2025.
DVC ET Salary 2026
Selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of ₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500 in Pay Matrix Level 10 (M2 grade) during the one-year probation. After successful probation, they will be absorbed as Assistant Manager in the same scale. The package includes Basic Pay, Central DA, HRA, medical reimbursement, LTA, NPS, conveyance allowance and leave encashment as per DVC rules.

DVC ET Selection Process 2026
- Shortlisting: Based only on GATE 2025 marks (out of 100), in the ratio of 1:5 or more category-wise in each discipline. All candidates with tied marks at the cut-off will be called.
- Document Verification (DV): Bring the GATE 2025 admit card, original GATE 2025 scorecard and all original certificates.
- Final merit: Based on GATE 2025 marks. In a tie, the older candidate will be placed first.
- Pre-employment medical examination by the DVC Medical Board.
There is no written test or interview mentioned in the notification.
DVC ET Service Bond
Selected candidates must sign a service agreement bond to complete the one-year probation and then serve DVC for at least three years (four years in total). The bond amount is ₹5,00,000 for General / OBC (NCL) / EWS and ₹2,50,000 for SC / ST / PwBD candidates, plus applicable interest.
