1. Visit www.jkssb.nic.in. The online portal details will be shared separately by JKSSB.
2. Register and fill in your name, date of birth, father's name and mother's name exactly as in your matriculation certificate.
3. Select Item No. 265, Junior Engineer (Mechanical).
4. Upload a live photograph and signature (10–20 KB), category certificate and qualification certificates (PDF, up to 200 KB each).
5. Pay the fee online.
6. Check the form carefully. No changes are allowed after submission.
7. Submit and take a printout for document verification. Do not send a hard copy to JKSSB.

In-service candidates must send the printout with the signed certificate through proper channel (Head of Department) by the last date of document verification.
