Male candidates need a minimum chest expansion of 5 cm. Weight must be in proportion to height and age (Annexure D). The Board may recommend relaxation for outstanding sportspersons, subject to MHA approval.

Medical Standards

  • Distance vision of 6/6 and 6/9 in both eyes without glasses or lenses
  • Rejection for colour blindness, knock knees, flat feet, varicose veins or squint
  • Tattoos only on the inner left forearm or back of the hand, smaller than a quarter of that part

CRPF Sports Quota Recruitment 2026 Selection Process & Marks

  1. Identity verification: Aadhaar-based biometrics, which may be repeated at every stage
  2. Document verification: original certificates in the prescribed formats
  3. Physical Standard Test (PST): height, chest and weight
  4. Sports Trial Test: qualifying only, no marks, may include a dope test, no appeal
  5. Merit list: based on marks for your sports achievements
  6. Detailed Medical Exam (DME): a Review Medical Exam is available if you give written consent within 24 hours

Sports Achievement Marks

There is no written exam. Only your single highest achievement in the eligible period counts, and marks from different events are not added together.

Who signs sports certificates: National Federation Secretary (international and national events), State Association Secretary (national events), university Dean of Sports (inter-university), State Education Directorate Director or Deputy Director (school games), and the designated SAI officer (Khelo India).

How to Apply for CRPF Sports Quota Recruitment 2026

  1. Visit rect.crpf.gov.in and create your profile with a valid mobile number and email.
  2. Upload the certificate of your highest medal, position or participation in your profile. Applications without it are rejected.
  3. Fill in the form. Your name, date of birth and parents' names must match your 10th certificate exactly.
  4. Choose your post and sports discipline. You can apply for only one post.
  5. Upload your photo, signature and thumb impression.
  6. Pay the fee, if applicable, and submit before 11:59 PM on 11.11.2026.
  7. Download and keep a copy of your application.

Tip: If you apply more than once, all your applications are rejected. After selection you must sign a ₹1,00,000 bond to serve for at least 3 years. Your sports performance is monitored for 2 years, and your service can be ended if your standard drops.
