NLC GET Recruitment 2026: Apply Online for 143 Graduate Executive Trainee Posts
NLC India Limited (NLCIL), a Navratna Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Coal, has released the NLC GET Recruitment 2026 notification (Advertisement No. 10/2026) for 143 Graduate Executive Trainee (GET) posts through GATE 2025 scores. Engineering graduates in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil and Mining branches can apply online on nlcindia.in from 13 November 2026 to 14 December 2026. Selection will be based on GATE 2025 marks (80%) and a personal interview (20%), and selected trainees will get a CTC of about ₹14.50 lakh per year.

- Minimum 60% marks in the degree for UR / EWS / OBC (NCL) and 50% for SC / ST. Rounding off is not allowed. A CGPA of 6.0 on a 10-point scale is treated as 60%.
- Candidates must have qualified GATE 2025 in the relevant paper. Only GATE 2025 scores are valid.
- The degree must be completed by 1 November 2026. Equivalent or combined branches other than those listed are not accepted.
- Only Indian nationals can apply.

PwBD candidates get 10 years of relaxation (13 years for PwBD-OBC and 15 years for PwBD-SC / ST). Relaxation for ex-servicemen is as per Government of India rules. In all cases, the maximum age is 58 years.

NLC GET Selection Process 2026
- Shortlisting: Based on GATE 2025 marks (out of 100), in the ratio 1:6 (or 1:10) against vacancies. Shortlisting is done separately for each area.
- Document verification: Original documents must be shown. Candidates from PSUs / government must bring an NOC.
- Personal interview: 20 marks.
- Final merit: GATE 2025 score (80 marks) + interview (20 marks). In a tie, the older candidate will be ranked higher.
- Medical examination: Pre-employment medical test as per NLCIL standards.
Candidates attending the interview will get second-class sleeper train or bus fare.
NLC GET Service Bond and Posting
- Selected candidates must sign a service bond of ₹3,00,000 to serve NLCIL for at least three years after training.
- Posting will be in the area applied for, at any NLCIL location in that area.
- No transfer requests will be accepted for the first three years.
NLC GET 2026 for West Bengal Candidates
The posts are open to engineering graduates from all states, so candidates from West Bengal with a valid GATE 2025 score in ME, EE, CE or MN can apply. Area-2 includes mines at South Pachwara (Jharkhand) and Talabira (Odisha), which are close to West Bengal. How to Apply for NLC GET Recruitment 2026
- Visit nlcindia.in and open the Careers section.
- Register with your GATE 2025 registration number, name, email ID and mobile number. Only one registration is allowed.
- Choose one area only: Area-1, Area-2, Area-3 or Area-4. This cannot be changed later.
- Fill in your details and upload the documents. Multiple certificates must be combined into one PDF in date order.
- Pay the fee through SBI e-Collect by 14 December 2026.
- Submit the application by 16 December 2026 and keep a printout.
