IGNOU Non Teaching Eligibility Criteria

Points to note:

• Experience must be in the relevant specialisation, such as LMS administration (Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard), enterprise networking (Palo Alto, F5, HCI), 2D/3D animation, game design, VR/AR development or AI/ML development.
• Experience must be from PSUs, universities, educational institutions, Government of India organisations or reputed IT organisations.
• Experience is counted only after obtaining the required qualification.
• Part-time, daily-wage and guest or visiting faculty experience is not counted.
• An experience certificate in the prescribed proforma is required, showing duration, pay and nature of duties.
• Assistant Director (LMS) also needs working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, MySQL, MongoDB, API integration, SSO, Android/iOS app development and large-scale online examinations.
• Certifications such as Moodle Administrator, CCNA/CCNP, Palo Alto PCNSE, Unity/Unreal Engine, Adobe Certified Professional, Microsoft Azure AI Engineer, Google Professional ML Engineer and TensorFlow Developer get preference.
• Candidates must be citizens of India, subjects of Nepal or Bhutan, or belong to other eligible categories in the notification.

IGNOU Non Teaching Age Limit

Age relaxation for government employees and ex-servicemen applies as per Government of India rules. SC, ST, OBC and PwBD candidates who apply against unreserved vacancies will not get age relaxation.

IGNOU Non Teaching Salary

Admissible allowances are paid in addition to the basic pay.
