DRRMLIMS Exam Pattern 2026

The DRRMLIMS exam pattern is the same for the Screening and Main CBT. Both have the same syllabus, 100 marks and 2 hours, in Hindi and English. The section-wise DRRMLIMS exam pattern is given below.

• Marking: +1 for each correct answer and −0.25 for each wrong answer.
• Qualifying marks (Screening and Main): 50% for UR / EWS, 40% for SC / ST / OBC / PwD.

DRRMLIMS Selection Process

The DRRMLIMS selection process has two CBT stages, plus a skill test where required. The steps are listed below.

1. Screening CBT: qualifying only. From candidates who get the minimum marks, 10 times the number of posts in each category are called for the Main exam. Screening marks are not added to the final merit.
2. Main CBT: the final merit is based only on Main exam marks.
3. Skill Test (for posts like Stenographer): 5 times the posts in each category are called. Stenography and typing (English and Hindi in Mangal or Krutidev 10, as per the candidate's choice). This is qualifying only.
4. Document verification and pre-employment medical examination.

Tie-breaker: total marks, then date of birth (older first), then fewer wrong answers, then higher marks in the core section, then the earlier application number.

DRRMLIMS Reservation Rules

• Reservation (vertical and horizontal) is only for domiciles of Uttar Pradesh.
• Candidates from other states (including West Bengal) can apply only against Unreserved vacancies.
• SC / ST / OBC / EWS certificates must be in the UP Government format and issued within six months before the CBT date.
• Candidates without a valid EWS certificate will be treated as UR.
