Educational Qualification
For Senior Computer Instructor (Varish Computer Anudeshak):
Candidates must possess any one of the following qualifications:
- M.E. / M.Tech. in Computer Science (CS) / IT / ECE / EE / EEE / ETE / EIE
- M.Sc. in Computer Science (CS) / Information Technology (IT)
- Master in Computer Application (MCA) / 'B' Level / 'C' Level
- Any equivalent or higher qualification recognized by the Government
Additionally: Practical knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari script and knowledge of Rajasthani culture.
For Basic Computer Instructor (Basic Computer Anudeshak):
Candidates must possess any one of the following qualifications:
- Graduate with 'A' Level / PGDCA (minimum one year)
- B.E. / B.Tech. in CS / IT / ECE / EE / EEE / EIC / TIE
- B.Sc. in Computer Science (CS) / Information Technology (IT)
- BCA from a University established by law in India
- Any equivalent or higher qualification recognized by the Government
Additionally: Practical knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari script and knowledge of Rajasthani culture.

RSSB Computer Instructor 2026 – Exam Scheme & Syllabus
The examination will carry 200 marks in two papers of 100 marks each.

Paper-II covers Pedagogy, Mental Ability, Fundamentals of Computer, Data Processing (MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint, MS-Access), Programming Fundamentals (C, C++, Java, DotNet, AI, ML, Python, Blockchain), Data Structures and Algorithms, Computer Organization and OS, Communication and Network Concepts, Network Security, DBMS, System Analysis and Design, and Internet of Things (IoT) and its Applications.
Exam Pattern:
- Each paper has 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
- Each question has 5 options (A, B, C, D, E)
- Negative Marking: 1/3 marks deducted for every wrong answer
- If a question is not attempted, option E must be darkened
- If more than 10% questions have no option darkened, the candidate will be disqualified
- Minimum Qualifying Marks: 40% (35% for SC/ST candidates)
- Normalization will be applied if examination is conducted in multiple shifts

How to Apply for RSSB Computer Instructor Recruitment 2026
Candidates must apply online only through the SSO Portal. The application process is as follows:
Step 1: Log in to sso.rajasthan.gov.in using SSO ID.
Step 2: Select the Recruitment Portal under Citizen Apps (G2C) and click on Apply Now.
Step 3: Complete One Time Registration (OTR) if not already done, selecting your category (UR/EWS/OBC-NC/MBC-NC/SC/ST/SAH), Divyangjan status, and home state, then pay the registration fee.
Step 4: Fill the online application form carefully, uploading educational qualification documents in the Document Details section of OTR Dashboard.
Step 5: Capture a Live Photo through OTR and upload scanned signature and thumb impression as per specified guidelines (JPEG format, 280×80 to 560×160 pixels, 20 KB to 50 KB).
Step 6: Carefully fill the department preference (Secondary Education Department or Sanskrit Education Department) in the designated column — this cannot be changed after submission.
Step 7: Final Submit the application before 23rd June 2026 (23:59 hrs).
