Selection Process for NHAI Deputy Manager Recruitment 2026
The selection process for NHAI Deputy Manager (Technical) posts is based on GATE 2026 Score in the discipline of Civil Engineering.
- Shortlisting: In the event of a large number of applications, NHAI will adopt shortlisting criteria to restrict the number of candidates for interaction/interview to a reasonable number, as decided by the Selection Committee.
- Merit List: The merit list will be prepared based on GATE 2026 scores. In case of candidates having the same rank, merit will be determined on the basis of date of birth (elder candidate ranked higher). If date of birth is also the same, merit will be determined by the first letter of the candidate's initial name in English alphabetical order.
- No TA/DA will be paid to candidates appearing in the interview process.
Service Bond for NHAI Deputy Manager 2026
- All selected candidates must execute a Service Bond of Rs. 5,00,000 (Rs. 5 Lakhs) at the time of joining.
- They must serve NHAI for a minimum period of 3 years from the date of joining.
- In the event of resignation before the bond period expires or termination due to misconduct within 3 years, the candidate will be liable to pay Rs. 5 Lakhs to NHAI.
- NHAI does not entertain transfer of service bonds for candidates already working in any other Government Organization.
