- Must have passed 10th with ITI (NCVT/NCVET) of 2 years duration in Mechanic Motor Vehicle (MMV) trade or 1 year duration in Diesel Mechanic Trade
- Must possess Apprenticeship Certificate in MMV or Diesel Mechanic Trade
- Heavy vehicle driving licence is required; First aid training certificate is desirable
2. Mining Mate Gr. III
- Must have passed 10th with a valid Mining Mate Certificate of Competency
- Restricted to opencast Metalliferous Mines being issued by DGMS
- Candidate with First Aid certificate will be preferable
3. Jr. Foreman (Mines)
- Must have passed Diploma in Mining/Mining Engineering with valid Mining Foreman Certificate of Competency (Restricted to opencast Metalliferous Mines) being issued by DGMS

Selection Process for NALCO Non-Executive Recruitment 2026
The selection process for NALCO Non-Executive posts at M&R Complex, Damanjodi comprises the following stages:
- Stage 1 – Computer-Based Test (CBT): For posts at Sl. No. 5, 7, 9, 11, and 12 (SUPT-JOT posts) — selection will be based on CBT only. For all other posts — both CBT and Trade Test will be conducted with a weightage of 60% and 40% respectively.

NALCO Non-Executive Emoluments & Benefits 2026
Pay Scale
- T0 Grade (Induction Level for most posts): Rs. 29,500-3%-70,000/-
- S0 Grade (Jr. Foreman posts): Rs. 36,500-3%-1,15,000/-
- After successful completion of 12 months as SUPT, induction will be made to Jr. Operative Trainee (JOT) for a period of 18 months. During JOT training, stipend of Rs. 15,000/- per month for the first 12 months and Rs. 15,500/- per month for the remaining period will be paid.
- Candidates selected for SUPT(JOT)-Operator/SUPT(JOT)-Fitter/SUPT(JOT)-Electrical/SUPT(JOT)-Laboratory/SUPT(JOT)-Instrumentation will receive a stipend of Rs. 12,000/- per month during the 12-month training period.
- On successful completion of training, they will be placed in T0 Grade at pay scale Rs. 29,500-3%-70,000/- along with all emoluments applicable to regular employees.
