The online quiz is open to all Indian citizens aged 14 years and above and will remain live on the MyGov platform till 10th October 2026. Participants can test their knowledge of human rights, the Protection of Human Rights Act (PHRA), 1993, and the functions, powers and duties of the NHRC, while standing a chance to win cash prizes of up to ₹15,000. About the Human Rights Quiz 2026
As part of its 33rd Foundation Day celebrations, NHRC India, along with MyGov, is running this online quiz to spread awareness about the Protection of Human Rights Act (PHRA), 1993, and to deepen public understanding of the functions, powers and duties of the National Human Rights Commission in promoting and protecting human rights across the country.
Through the quiz, participants get an opportunity to assess their knowledge of human rights, explore significant milestones in the advancement of human rights at both the national and global levels, and reinforce their understanding of the principles of equality, dignity, justice and fundamental rights.
How to Participate in the NHRC Human Rights Quiz 2026?
- Visit the official quiz page on the MyGov portal.
- Log in using your MyGov AUTH credentials (register on MyGov first, if you don’t already have an account).
- Click on the “Play Quiz” button — the quiz timer starts as soon as you click it.
- Answer a maximum of 15 questions within the prescribed time limit of 300 seconds.
- Submit your responses before time runs out — entries once submitted cannot be withdrawn.
- Each participant is allowed only one entry; multiple entries from the same participant will not be accepted.

Selection of Winners
As per the official terms and conditions, winners will be selected through a system-generated automated randomization process to ensure fairness and transparency. All participants who secure the highest score and submit their responses within the prescribed time limit will be included in a centralized pool of eligible entries, from which winners will be chosen solely through this automated process.

- Only Indian citizens aged 14 years and above can participate in the quiz.
- The quiz starts as soon as the participant clicks the “Play Quiz” button.
- Each participant must answer a maximum of 15 questions within 300 seconds.
- Entries once submitted cannot be withdrawn, and multiple entries from the same participant are not allowed.
- Use of unfair means, malpractice, impersonation, double participation or any fraudulent activity will lead to the entry being declared null and void.
- Employees of NHRC and MyGov are not eligible to participate.
- NHRC reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions or cancel the quiz at any time due to unforeseen circumstances.
- The organizers are not responsible for entries lost, delayed, incomplete or not transmitted due to technical issues, computer errors, network failures or reasons beyond their control.
- All disputes arising out of the quiz are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Delhi.
- The decision of NHRC and MyGov on all matters relating to the quiz will be final and binding.
