Hassan District Court Peon Educational Qualification
Candidates must fulfil the following eligibility criteria as on the last date of application:
- Must have passed the SSLC examination (Class X) conducted by the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board, or an equivalent examination.
- Must be able to read and write Kannada.
Age Limit
Candidates must have attained a minimum of 18 years of age, and must not exceed the maximum age limit as on the last date of application.

Hassan District Court Peon Selection Process
Selection to the post of Peon will be made through the following process:
- Shortlisting for Interview: Based on the marks obtained in the SSLC examination, candidates will be called for interview in a ratio of 1:10 against the number of vacancies notified, category-wise.
- Interview: An interview will be conducted to assess the candidate’s proficiency and general knowledge, carrying a maximum of 10 marks.
- Final selection will be made based on the marks secured in the interview.
Probation Period
Selected candidates will be on probation for a period of 2 years, as per the Karnataka Civil Services (Probation) Rules, 1977. During this period, candidates must qualify the prescribed departmental examinations and the Kannada language examination.
