Gazole Development Block Hostel Staff Recruitment 2026: The Gazole Samsti Unnayan Adhikarik (Block Development Officer), Malda, has released Notice No. 2027 dated 11-08-2026, inviting applications for engagement of temporary and contractual staff at various Ashram Hostels under Gazole Development Block. Eligible and interested candidates can apply for the posts of Superintendent, Cook (Randhuni), and Helper through the prescribed application form. Applications will be accepted from 12.08.2026 to 25.08.2026.

Eligibility Criteria

Documents Required with the Application

Candidates must attach the following self-attested documents along with the application:

a) Self-attested photocopy of Voter Card (name must be present in the 2026 voter list) b) Self-attested photocopy of Aadhaar Card c) Self-attested photocopy of Madhyamik or equivalent exam Admit Card d) Self-attested photocopy of Madhyamik or equivalent exam Result and self-attested photocopy of the Pass Certificate e) Self-attested photocopy of Higher Secondary or equivalent exam Result and Certificate, and self-attested photocopy of Graduation Result and Certificate (applicable only for the Superintendent post) f) Caste Certificate (if applicable) g) Three copies of recent passport-size colour photographs (one to be pasted on the application form; the other two to be pinned along with the form for later use) h) Computer Knowledge Certificate (applicable only for the Superintendent post) i) Work Experience Certificate (if applicable) j) Police Clearance Certificate

Where to Submit the Application

Applications must be submitted in the drop box kept at the office of the Backward Class Welfare Department, under the Gazole Samsti Unnayan Adhikarik (BDO), between 12.08.2026 and 25.08.2026, from 11:30 AM to 3:30 PM (except Saturdays, Sundays, and government holidays).

Special Conditions for Application

a) The applicant must be a permanent resident and voter of Gazole Assembly Constituency/Gazole Block.

b) For Shyamsukhi Balika Shiksha Niketan Ashram Hostel (ST) and Gazole Sidhu Kanu Memorial Santali Medium Residential School (Girls Hostel), only female candidates can apply for all posts.

c) For all other hostels, male candidates only can apply for the Superintendent post, while both male and female candidates can apply for the Cook and Helper posts.

d) ST candidates will be given preference for vacant posts in ST Ashram Hostels.

e) If any applicant has a pending police case or criminal case against them, their application will be considered cancelled/rejected.

f) The Superintendent post is fully residential in nature.

g) Applications must be submitted in the drop box. Applications sent through post office will be accepted only if received at the concerned office within the specified date and time. Applications received through electronic media such as WhatsApp or email will NOT be accepted.
