DTL Assistant Manager Trainee Recruitment Selection Process
The selection process for DTL Recruitment 2026 is based entirely on GATE 2026 scores:
- Separate merit lists are prepared based on valid GATE 2026 scores (Normalized Marks out of 100) for each discipline/paper code (EE, EC/CS, CE).
- Final selection is made purely on merit derived from the GATE 2026 score, with no separate written exam or interview.
- Selected candidates undergo one year of training (3 months academic training via NPTI or equivalent institute, followed by 9 months of on-the-job training), with a minimum qualifying mark of 65% required for absorption.
- On successful completion of training, candidates are absorbed as Assistant Manager (T)/Assistant Manager (Civil) in Pay Level-10.
- Selected candidates must execute a service agreement bond of Rs. 5,00,000/- (General/OBC/EWS) or Rs. 2,50,000/- (SC/ST/PwBD) to serve the organization for a minimum of three years after training.
