CPCL Non-Executive Recruitment 2026 Age Limit
The upper age limit for all positions is 30 years as on 01.07.2026. Age relaxation is applicable as below:

CPCL Non-Executive Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
Selection comprises three stages:
Computer Based Test (CBT): Total 120 marks, comprising:
- General Aptitude – 50 objective MCQs (Verbal Ability, General Knowledge, Reasoning/Logical Deduction, Numerical Ability)
- Discipline Knowledge – 70 objective MCQs related to the relevant discipline
- Duration: 2 hours; ¼ mark deducted for every wrong answer
- Minimum qualifying marks: 40% (5% relaxation for SC/ST/PwBD against reserved posts)
- Tentatively scheduled for September/October 2026 at Chennai only
Document Verification: Candidates shortlisted based on CBT performance (in the ratio of 1:3 per post, subject to qualifying marks) will undergo document verification.
Skill, Proficiency and/or Physical Test (SPPT): Qualifying in nature; category-wise merit list will be drawn based on CBT marks, only from among candidates who qualify the SPPT.
Final selection is subject to candidates being found medically fit as per CPCL’s Pre-Employment Medical Standards.
Pay & Emoluments
Selected candidates will be appointed in the Non-Supervisory Cadre (Grade IV) in the IDA pay scale of ₹25,000 – ₹1,05,000, with a starting basic pay of ₹25,000. In addition, candidates will be entitled to DA, HRA/Self-Lease, PF, Gratuity, LTC/LFA, Medical Reimbursement, and Superannuation benefits as per Corporation rules. No pay protection will be admissible under any circumstances.

Fee is payable online only, via SBI e-Pay (Debit/Credit Card, UPI, or Net Banking). Bank charges, if any, are to be borne by the candidate. Fees once paid are non-refundable under any circumstances, including if a candidate applies for more than one post.
How to Apply for CPCL Non-Executive Recruitment 2026
Applications must be submitted online through www.cpcl.co.in. Each candidate may apply for only one post, using a single valid email ID and mobile number.
Step 1 — New User Signup: Read the instructions, tick the declaration checkbox, and click “Continue.” Select the post applying for and provide basic personal details, validating your Email ID and Mobile Number via OTP.
Step 2 — Login: Use the User ID and password generated (also sent via email/SMS) to log in.
Step 3 — Fill Application Form: Complete the following sections in order:
- Personal Details (parent’s name, marital status, Photo ID proof, address)
- Academic Details (educational qualifications and category)
- Work Experience (mandatory for all four post codes)
- Upload Photo (recent passport-size photo, 20KB–60KB, JPG/JPEG/PNG)
- Upload Signature (10KB–30KB, JPG/JPEG/PNG)
- Upload Documents (scanned certificates in PDF, 60KB–2MB)
Step 4 — Preview & Declaration: Review all details (editable at this stage), then confirm the declaration checkbox and click “Submit.” Details cannot be changed after final submission.
