CPCB Selection Process 2026
- Only candidates meeting the educational qualification and experience criteria will be called for an interview/written test.
- Selection will be made on the basis of a written test/interview, or interview alone, depending on the post and number of applicants.
- If a large number of candidates apply, the Selection/Screening Committee may shortlist candidates for interview based on a written exam, percentage of marks, desirable qualifications, relevant/higher experience, or any other criteria deemed fit.
- No TA/DA or accommodation will be provided for attending the interview.

Important Instructions for Candidates
- The engagement is purely temporary and co-terminus with the SER-Phase-III project; service will terminate automatically upon project completion or the period mentioned in the appointment offer, whichever is earlier.
- Once submitted, an application cannot be altered, resubmitted, or deleted under any circumstances.
- Candidates serving in Govt./Semi-Govt./PSU/Autonomous bodies must obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer and produce it at the time of document verification (not required to be sent to CPCB in advance).
