BEML Apprentice Recruitment 2026: BEML Limited has released its official notification (Advt. No. L&D/01/2026 dated 18.08.2026) inviting online applications for engagement of apprentices for one year duration at its various manufacturing units across Karnataka. A total of 1,346 training slots are notified across Bangalore Complex, Mysore Complex, KGF Complex, and Palakkad Complex, spanning BE/B.Tech, Diploma, Degree (any stream), and ITI Trade apprenticeships. Eligible candidates can apply online from 18.08.2026 to 08.09.2026 (23:00 Hrs).

There is no application fee, written examination, or interview for BEML Apprentice recruitment — selection is based purely on a merit list drawn from marks obtained in the qualifying examination, followed by document verification. BEML Apprentice Educational Qualification & Monthly Stipend

BEML Apprentice Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who possess the educational qualifications mentioned above and have passed (date of result of final examination) within three years from the closing date of application are eligible to apply.

Candidates are NOT eligible in the following cases:

• Awaiting the results of their final examination.
• Not completed 17 years of age.
• Undergone or undergoing apprenticeship training in any organization, for any duration.

Additional points to note:

• Candidates must hold a full-time regular degree/diploma qualification from a recognized institute/university. Qualifications obtained through part-time/correspondence/distance/online mode are not eligible.
• The percentage of marks in the final examination (not semester-wise) should be mentioned in the final/consolidated mark sheet. If CGPA is mentioned, candidates must upload a Percentage Conversion Letter from their institute/university.
• The required area of specialization must be mentioned in the degree/diploma certificate; if not, a certificate/letter from the college/institute/university stating the specialization must be produced.
• Applicants must be Indian citizens and at least 17 years old at the time of application.

Registration for DBT and Aadhaar-Seeded Bank Account

Candidates must have an active Aadhaar-seeded bank account that is DBT-enabled for Direct Benefit Transfer, as per Government of India norms. The Name and Date of Birth in the Matriculation Certificate, Aadhaar Card, and Bank Account must all match. Bank seeding status can be checked at https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/bank-seeding-status.

BEML Apprentice Selection Process

1. Shortlisting: Applications are screened as per eligibility criteria and prescribed qualification. A merit list is prepared category-wise for each trade at each location, in a ratio of 1:5 against the number of training slots notified.
2. Reservation: Applicable for SC/ST/OBC(NCL) as per the Apprentices Act 1961 and Apprenticeship Rule 1992 (as amended).
3. Document Verification: Candidates are called for verification of documents/certificates in order of merit, in a ratio of 1:5 with respect to available training slots. Shortlisted candidates are informed via registered email. No TA/DA is paid for attending document verification.
4. Merit List & Offer of Engagement: A provisional merit list is prepared based on candidates found suitable after document verification, ranked by percentage of marks in the final qualifying examination. Offers of Engagement are issued immediately to eligible candidates subject to availability of training slots; remaining eligible candidates are placed on a Reserved Waiting Panel (maintained at 5 times the training slot strength), which is replenished periodically as vacancies arise.
5. Engagement: Candidates are engaged in merit order upon accepting the tri-partite apprenticeship contract on the NATS/NAPS website and submitting a medical certificate (in the prescribed format) and police verification certificate.
