AWEIL Recruitment 2026: Advanced Weapons & Equipment India Limited (AWEIL) has released two separate notifications inviting applications for Executive Finance Trainee (Advt. No. AWEIL/12/2026) and Junior Executive Finance Trainee (Advt. No. AWEIL/13/2026) posts on a contractual basis. A total of 09 posts are available across both notifications. Interested Indian nationals can apply offline, with the last date for receipt of applications being 31.08.2026.

AWEIL Salary 2026

Terms of Appointment

• Employment will be on a full-time contract basis for a fixed term of 3 years, renewable annually based on performance.
• The contract does not confer any right or claim to extension/absorption in the Company.
• Services can be terminated by AWEIL with 1 month’s notice (or one month’s pay in lieu), while a candidate wishing to leave must give AWEIL 3 months’ notice (or pay 3 months’ salary in lieu).
• The New Labour Codes will be applicable to newly engaged contract employees.

Place of Posting

Selected candidates may be posted at AWEIL Headquarters, Kanpur, or at any of AWEIL’s units located in Kanpur, Jabalpur, Korwa (UP), Kolkata, and Tiruchirappalli (Trichy). They may also be deputed for official work to any unit of AWEIL/Government offices/Departments, or transferred to another unit/office of AWEIL based on requirement.

Job Profile and Responsibilities

The role and responsibilities broadly cover any combination of the following areas: Book Keeping, Bills Payable, Bills Receivable, Payroll and Personnel Claims, TDS matters, Costing, Budgeting, Banking, Insurance, preparation of Financial Statements, Corporate Tax, GST, Working Capital, Treasury Management, and Tender Evaluation.

Working Hours & Leave

• Working Hours: As per AWEIL office timing. Based on work exigencies, candidates may be asked to attend office on Saturdays (for HQ, in the case of Jr. Executive Finance Trainee) or other holidays without additional compensation.
• Leave: 12 days of Casual Leave (CL) per year, accrued at one CL per month on a pro-rata basis; can also be availed as half-day leave.

AWEIL Selection Process 2026

1. Interviews will be conducted by a duly constituted Selection Committee.
2. The ratio between the number of vacancies and eligible candidates called for interview will be 1:10.
3. Shortlisting of candidates from the recommended list will be based on the following criteria:

For Executive Finance Trainee:

• Preference given to CA.
• Aggregate percentage of CA/CMA (all groups).
• Fewer attempts in CA/CMA Final Stage IV considered better.
• Fewer attempts in CA/CMA Final Stage III considered better.
• Where experience is not mandatory, sorting will be based on marks obtained in the exam prescribed as minimum qualification.

For Jr. Executive Finance Trainee:

• Preference given to CA (Inter I + II).
• Aggregate percentage of CA/CMA (Inter I + II).
• Fewer attempts in CA/CMA Inter Stage II considered better.
• Fewer attempts in CA/CMA Inter Stage I considered better.

Note: The above criteria are subject to change for justified reasons, with the approval of CMD/AWEIL.

1. Download the prescribed application format from the AWEIL website www.aweil.in or DoO (C&S) website ddpdoo.gov.in.
2. Fill the hard copy of the application form completely.
3. Send the completed application via Speed Post/Courier Service only to: Director (HR) Advanced Weapons and Equipment India Limited Ordnance Factory Kanpur (OFC) Premises Kalpi Road, Kanpur, UP – 208009
4. Clearly mention on the envelope: “Application for the post of Executive Finance Trainee (on Contractual Basis)” or “Application for the post of Jr. Executive Finance Trainee (on Contractual Basis)” as applicable. Only hard copy applications are acceptable.
5. Attach 2 self-attested recent passport-size photographs (with full name written on the back), along with self-attested copies of documents/certificates in support of age (Birth Certificate/10th Class Certificate), qualification, and experience.
6. Affix one passport photograph (4.4 cm x 5.8 cm) on the application in the space provided; attach (do not paste) the second photograph.
7. Fill in all mandatory details: qualification, experience, percentage of marks, email address, mobile number, correspondence address, Aadhaar/PAN number, etc.
