Merit % = (10th aggregate % + ITI %) ÷ 2

Example10th %ITI %Merit %
Candidate A7284(72 + 84) ÷ 2 = 78
Candidate B6590(65 + 90) ÷ 2 = 77.5
  • Only aggregate 10th marks are counted, not subject-wise marks.
  • For ITI, the average marks of all semesters in the consolidated mark sheet or the marks in the Provisional NTC are used.
  • For boards that give letter grades, use the midpoint of the grade range (for example, A = 80–89 gives 84.5%). If only subject grades are given, average the midpoints of all subjects.
  • Tie-breaker: The older candidate is preferred. If the date of birth is the same, the candidate who passed 10th earlier is preferred.
  • If the marks you enter do not match RRC's calculation, your application will be rejected.
