The Swami Dayanand Education Foundation (SDEF) has invited applications for the SDEF India Scholarship Program 2026-27 for meritorious students from financially weak families who have joined the first year of a professional undergraduate course such as B.Tech / B.E., MBBS, BDS or B.Arch in 2026-27. Selected students can get up to ₹50,000 per year, renewable for up to four years, subject to annual review.

SDEF India Scholarship 2026-27 Eligibility
- Admitted to the first year of a full-time eligible professional undergraduate programme in 2026-27.
- Minimum 80% marks in Class 12 (or equivalent CGPA), as per the SDEF application form.
- Annual family income must not exceed ₹12 lakh from all sources.
- No drop or gap year after Class 12; repeaters are not eligible.
- Must meet the entrance exam cut-off for the course (see below).
- Must be willing to take part in the assessment and interview, if shortlisted.
Preference may be given to students from government / government-aided schools, first-generation college students and meritorious girls from economically weak families.

The SDEF scholarship amount depends on the entrance rank and the average of Class 10 and Class 12 marks. The slab-wise SDEF India Scholarship amount per year is given below*.

The full ₹50,000 is only for students with a rank below 5,000 and an average above 95%. The amount is paid directly to the college for approved education expenses, and renewal each year depends on full-time study, no backlogs and a renewal form.
