KMRL Apprentice Stipend 2026
The Kochi Metro apprentice stipend depends on the category. Part of the stipend for Diploma and Graduate apprentices is paid by the Government of India through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) under the NATS scheme. The KMRL apprentice stipend details are given below.

There is no written exam or interview for the KMRL apprentice 2026. The selection process is as follows:
- Applications will be screened; incomplete or ineligible applications will be rejected without intimation.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for verification of documents and certificates.
- Selected candidates must accept the tripartite apprenticeship contract on the NATS/NAPS portal.
- Candidates must submit a medical certificate in the prescribed format and complete police verification.
How to Apply for KMRL Apprentice Recruitment 2026
The Kochi Metro apprentice apply process has two steps. Follow them as given below.
- Step 1 – Portal registration: ITI candidates register on apprenticeshipindia.gov.in (NAPS). Degree and Diploma candidates register on nats.education.gov.in (NATS). Complete the profile and upload all required documents.
- Step 2 – Send application: Fill in the KMRL Apprentice Bio-Data Form (attached with the notification) with your NAPS/NATS enrolment number.
- Attach scanned/self-attested copies of: NAPS/NATS enrolment number with 100% completed profile, educational certificates and mark sheets, proof of age (Matriculation certificate/Aadhaar/Passport), and SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/EWS/PwBD certificate (if applicable).
