- Minimum marks: B.E./B.Tech./Diploma with at least 60% marks.
- Project Scientific Assistant: only candidates with a three-year Diploma will be considered.
- Project Administrative Staff: Graduates in Arts / Commerce / Management / Science / Law / Computer Application with at least 50% marks.
- Over-qualified candidates: for Post Code 01 and 02, candidates with a higher qualification than the one prescribed will be treated as over-qualified and will not be screened in. For example, an M.Tech. holder will not be considered for PSO, and a B.Tech. holder will not be considered for PSA.
- All qualifications must be from UGC-recognised Indian universities or AICTE-approved institutes / boards. Foreign qualifications need an equivalency certificate from UGC / AIU.
