The candidates who wish to apply for NMDC Steel Limited Recruitment 2026 need to satisfy the eligibility criteria in terms of educational qualification and age limit.
Educational Qualification – Minimum Percentage of Marks
- General/UR, EWS and OBC candidates: minimum 60% aggregate marks in the relevant degree/PG degree/diploma.
- SC/ST/PwD candidates: minimum 50% aggregate marks.

NMDC Steel Limited Executive Trainee Selection Process
Selection for the Executive Trainee post is a three-stage process, with the final merit list prepared based on the following weightage:

- The CBT will consist of objective-type multiple-choice questions, in Hindi and English.

- Candidates will be shortlisted for GD & Interview, discipline-wise and category-wise, in a ratio of 1:3 based on CBT scores.
- Document verification of age, qualification and category will be carried out before/at the GD & Interview stage.
- Candidates must clear a Pre-Employment Medical Examination before joining; no relaxation in health standards is allowed.
NMDC Steel Limited Salary 2026
Selected candidates will undergo an initial 6-month training period before being confirmed as Assistant Managers.
