Any Indian student who has qualified the (10+2) or equivalent examination from any recognized Board/Council/Equivalent body within the country can apply for admission to the undergraduate courses through the Centralised Admission Portal.

  • Congratulations to all students who have successfully passed the 10+2 Board Examinations and are now eligible to apply for UG admission 2026-27.

The following types of institutions are NOT covered under WBCAP 2026-27:

  • Presidency University
  • Jadavpur University
  • Autonomous Colleges
  • Minority Educational Institutes/Colleges

  • Law Colleges/Universities
  • Colleges offering courses like Fine Arts, Performing Arts, Crafts, Dance, and Music
  • Colleges offering Engineering, Pharmacy, Nursing, and Medical Courses
  • Self-financing/Private Colleges
