SBI Concurrent Auditor Recruitment 2026 Eligibility
Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria to apply for this recruitment.
Eligibility Criteria
- The officer must have retired from SBI's service only on attaining superannuation at the age of 60 years.
- Officers who voluntarily retired, resigned, were suspended, or left the Bank before superannuation are NOT eligible. However, officers who completed 58 years of age and 30 years of pensionable service while applying for voluntary retirement (as per e-Circular CDO/P&HRD-PM/20/2022-23 dated 21.06.2022) will be eligible upon attaining 60 years of age.
- Officers should have retired in the scales of MMGS-III, SMGS-IV, SMGS-V, or TEGS-VI from SBI or its erstwhile Associate Banks.
- The officer must have a good track record of performance and thorough knowledge of Bank systems and procedures.
- The integrity of the officer must not have been doubtful during service.
- No punishment or penalty (Censure or higher) should have been inflicted within the five years preceding retirement.
- No cases of CBI or other law enforcement agencies should be pending against the officer.
- The retired officer must maintain good health and not be suffering from any major ailments.
- Preferred work experience in credit, audit, or Forex background.
- The applicant must be retired as on the date of submitting the application.
Age Limit
- Maximum Age: 63 years as on 14.05.2026 (for fresh engagement)
- Engagement Period: Minimum 1 year and maximum 3 years, or up to attainment of 65 years of age, whichever is earlier.

Selection Process for SBI Concurrent Auditor Recruitment 2026
The selection process for SBI Concurrent Auditor posts comprises Shortlisting and Interview.
- Shortlisting: Merely fulfilling minimum qualifications will not guarantee a call for interview. The Shortlisting Committee constituted by the Bank will decide parameters, and only an adequate number of candidates will be called for interview.
- Interview: The interview will carry 100 marks. Qualifying marks will be decided by the Bank.
- Merit List: The final merit list will be prepared in descending order of scores obtained in the interview. In case of a tie, candidates will be ranked by age in descending order.
- No TA/DA will be paid to candidates appearing in the interview.
- The selected candidates will be required to report for duty after submission of a stamped undertaking letter and Service Level Agreement (SLA).

Selected candidates will be entitled to a monthly lump-sum compensation (for full-time work) without any perquisites and without prejudice to their pension:

- SMGS-IV: Rs. 50,000/- per month
- SMGS-V: Rs. 65,000/- per month
- TEGS-VI: Rs. 80,000/- per month
