MCL 2026 — Document Verification
Based on merit in CBT, shortlisted qualified candidates will be called for Document Verification in the ratio of 1:3 (i.e., 3 candidates for every 1 vacancy). In the event of a tie in marks, the tie will be resolved first on the basis of Date of Birth (elder candidate given preference) and then by Name alphabetically.
Candidates must produce all original certificates and documents along with photocopies at the time of document verification. Those working in Govt./Semi Govt./Autonomous Bodies/PSUs/CIL and subsidiaries must produce a No Objection Certificate from their employer.
MCL 2026 — Final Selection Criteria
Unlike many other government exams, MCL does not have a personal interview round. The final merit list and selection is based solely on marks scored in the Computer Based Test (CBT). After successful document verification, provisionally selected candidates are issued an offer of appointment based on their position in the merit list and in accordance with the reservation policy of the Government of India.
